About
I’m Mike Santi, an Engineering Team Lead working at the intersection of software engineering, system design and technical leadership.
Over the past years, I’ve led engineering teams building reliable, scalable and maintainable software systems, working with distributed architectures, event-driven flows, cloud components and production-ready services.
My focus is simple:
- clarity over noise
- reliability over complexity
- context-driven decisions
- engineering that serves the business
- teams that grow in maturity, autonomy and communication
I created Open Notes as a space to document what I learn, what I test, what I break and what I fix — in real life, with real teams, under real constraints.
No hype.
No inflated theories.
Just practical engineering notes, shaped by experience.
